TheVacuumHub started the way most useful things do. When Kiran’s son was diagnosed with asthma as an infant, following renovation work in the family home, keeping fine dust under control stopped being a chore and became a health priority. Testing vacuums across their own 3,267 square foot home over several years taught them what actually works — and, just as importantly, what marketing claims don’t hold up.
Kiran’s brother Mohamed brought a completely different kind of testing ground. As a professional interior painter in London who also handles end-of-tenancy cleanups between jobs, he’s been inside dozens of real flats with real buildup — not a single household, and never a showroom demo.
Between the two of them, TheVacuumHub covers both sides of the problem: a family home managing allergens daily, and properties that see heavy, repeated wear from people who don’t take care of them. We buy or borrow every unit we review, and we test each one ourselves before writing a word.
Why this matters
Most vacuum “review” sites are written from spec sheets and manufacturer press kits. We don’t do that. If we haven’t run a vacuum through Kiran’s multi-floor household or Mohamed’s neglected move-out properties, it doesn’t get a recommendation on this site.

They hold no formal certification in cleaning or allergy care — their authority comes from years of daily, high-stakes cleaning decisions made to protect their son’s health.
Mohamed — Move-Out Cleanup & Flooring Specialist. A professional interior painter in London who also handles end-of-tenancy cleanups. His testing lens: performance on floors uncleaned for months, exposure across old carpet, hardwood and tile in the same week, fine paint dust and debris, repeat-use durability, and practical portability between properties.
